I am a former hockey player of the Bangladesh national team where we played against other countries such as Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

I also played for two top clubs in Bangladesh, Dhaka Mohammedan from 1982 to 1983, and Dhaka Abahani where I was the captain of in 1988.

I was active in local teams and played for the Sylhet District Team, and my club team Sylhet Mousumi Club.
